I found these in one of the yards that we delivered Meals on Wheels to this morning. I had to take a picture of it. It looked like a strange alien mushroom of some kind. Does anyone know what it actually is?
WE don't know, but Henry David said it looks like something that doesn't use photosynthesis. You have got to let us know what it is when you find out. My imagination already has gone off the deep end with something resembling Lewis' science fiction.

That is cool! It looks like something a scrap booker would make...really!
That is awesome. If I had mushrooms like that in my yard, they would make a pretty ground cover!
But they're probably poisonous, and with a toddler, that's no good...
