D.K. Makes Me Think

D.K.- Taylor and I have decided to live together in Alabama when we grow-up.

Mom- Are you planning on marrying her?

D.K.- No, why?

Mom - Because a man can't live with a woman he isn't married to unless it's his mom, sister, or wife of someone else he's living with.

D.K.- But mommy what if she's just poor and needs a place to live?

Mom - uuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmmmm

I love conversations with little ones. Sometimes the little ones show more wisdom than we do!

Oh, and on your anniversary post you forgot to mention that Silver Belle and The Queen Mother also attended that same little Bible college as you, Farm Wife and Inkling...

I don't make it around to your blog very often, but I am always glad when I do.

Oh boy! It's like Aunt D explaining to a very young Inkling how her unmarried baby sitter could be pregnant when you have to have a husband for that.

Hey, Farmwife, that was a great sex talk with my mom. Of course, there were soooo many questions she wouldn't answer. I had to wait a zillion years to find out for myself.....anyway.....

Grace, DK is a hoot. I'm glad he's so tenderhearted, but you tell him that if he wants to live with any girl unrelated to him, he has to invite me to be a flower girl in his wedding first. =) Oh man, your kiddos will one day get married. Wow. Are you sure they really have to grow up? I mean, if they get married, do you think their wives will want dinosaur and policeman stories too? Just wondering....

what a beautiful mind and soul..

You tell DK that there are plenty of programs out there that can help women with no money and no housing. Cyber Auntie has been in them and seen them. With those programs they could help the girl far more than he could ever dream of. Because they could grow up like this Cyber Auntie.

He could be there for her for moral support and encouragement.

Hugs to you and DK
